The Woodrow Wilson Wildcats clearly got the better of the action in the 2010 playoffs against Lady Lion soccer with a 2-0 win, but that wasn’t the case on Tuesday in Midlothian.

Ennis (10-9-2) had more legitimate scoring chances and only trailed for 22 of the 80 minutes, but in the end the Wildcats escaped again this year with a 2-1 victory.

“We missed opportunities in the first half to score with the wind, and then we made two defensive errors that led to their goals,” said coach Kim Vernor. “Those were the main reasons we lost the game.”
