Woman’s death remains mystery

More than a month after the death of Ennis’ Connie Jimenez, the sheriff’s office has turned up little information about her whereabouts or activity, stalling a determination that foul play was involved.
On May 22, the 38-year-old’s body turned up in the 600 block of Central High Road in a creek. The weekend of May 20-22 has been the focus of the ECSO’s investigation up to this point, but chief investigator Lt. Jason Westmoreland said the case hasn’t yielded much fruit.
