Woman claims Ellis Co. couple shackled, kidnapped her


A woman rescued by police said that an Ellis County couple shackled her to a bed and forced her to clean their home. Ovilla police say they were contacted Friday about a woman being held against her will. When they got to the home in the 900 block of Red Oak Creek Road, just south of the Dallas County line, the victim told officers that she had been drugged and kidnapped. She said the residents of the home handcuffed, shackled and chained her to a bed and made her clean the house. Read this story and more in your Weekday edition of The Ennis News.
