Almost on cue, the victory-starved, turnover prone Ferris Yellowjackets ended a string of six setbacks with a resounding 53-0 blanking of Venus last Friday.
Ferris, 2-7, put together one of their best-ever ground attacks, not stopping until they had piled up 448 yards and six touchdowns. They averaged 10.4 yards per carry and steamrolled the Bulldogs.
