Baseball teams are not allowed to announce their All-District awards until the final team in the district is eliminated from the playoffs. Even though Heritage went 12-2 and were league champions, it was Midlothian who swept them during the regular season and stayed alive until falling in the fourth round (regional finals) to McKinney North (19-14-1) in two games.
