Alfred Martinez – Obituary


Alfred Martinez, age 58, passed away in Ennis on September 11, 2018. He was born on October 23, 1959 to Charles and Angelina (Partida) Martinez. He was a mechanic and a carpenter. Alfred enjoyed fishing, watching the Cowboys and coaching softball. He was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his parents, Charles and Angelina Martinez; children, Andy Martinez and his wife Daena, Tesa Martinez, Heather Martinez, Alfred Martinez, Jr. and his wife Allison, Jacqueline Martinez, Matthew Martinez and his wife Christi; grandchildren, Dylan, Alyssa, Noah, Damien, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Eric, Hayli, Christian, Heather, Fred, Gage, Alisen, Matthew, Jr., Aiden, and Aryah; great grandchild, Alexander; siblings , Charlie Martinez, Jr. and his wife Silvia, Rosemary Montejano and her husband Carlos, Mary Long, Vince Martinez, Chris Martinez and his wife Theresa, Paul Martinez and his wife Wendy; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Martinez. Alfred will be deeply missed by his family and loved ones and the memories he shared with his family will be forever remembered. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father Antonio Ormaza as Celebrant.
