Ann Reed Gibson

Ann Reed Gibson, 81, passed away in her sleep on the evening of September 17, 2015, after a long battle with COPD.
Ann was born the only daughter to Leon R. and Katherine (Pankey) on March 19, 1934, in Ennis, Texas. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from En­nis High School. She went on to graduate from TCU with degrees in Business and Education. She moved to Dallas and was a longtime resident of University Park and a member of the Northway Christian Church. She enjoyed needle point and sewing.
Ann is survived by her husband, Leslie Bates Gibson; two sons, William Reed Kasischke and James Martin Kasischke and wife, Wendy, along with grandson Eric Kasischke.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, beginning at 9:30 am until service time.
A Celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. She will be laid to rest in Myrtle Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be make to the Association for Independent Living (AFIL), 2826 Storey Lane, Dallas, TX 75220.
