CHARLIE RUTH (PERRY) SIMPSON

Charlie Ruth Simpson passed away on Good Friday March 25, 2016, at Legend Oaks Healthcare in Ennis, Texas.

She was born May 15, 1924, in Rice, Texas, to Charlie A. Perry and Allie Mae Puckett. She was raised and

attended school there. She married Clell Leighton Simpson of Bristol on April 20, 1940. She was a devoted and loving

wife and mother with a generous heart. A member of the Gilmer Baldridge Church of Christ, she was always willing to

help others when she saw the need. All her family and friends will miss her.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother, Leo; two sisters, Geneva and Audrey Faye;

and one granddaughter, Tina.

She is survived by her two sons, Roger Wayne Simpson and his wife Jane, and Micheal Don Simpson; four

grandchildren; Joni, Jacob, Saille and Andrea; and seven great-grandchildren survive her.

Visitation will be on Wednesday March 30, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the J. E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis, Texas.

A Celebration of her life will take place on Thursday March 31, 2016, at 3 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel

of Ennis with Dr. W. B. Kinzie officiating. Internment will follow in the Rice Cemetery under the direction of J. E. Keever

Mortuary, Inc.
