Connie R. Martinez, 38, left this world for her new home in Heaven on Sunday, May 22, 2011.

Connie was born in Ennis, Texas, on November 21, 1972 to Jesus and Esmeralda (Sauceda) Martinez. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School. She attended PCI and received her associates as a Medical Assistant. She lived in Cleburne for eight years before moving back to Ennis in 2008.

 

She worked for five years for the Huguley Memorial Hospital as a medical assistant and for Dr. Green in Fort Worth also as a medical assistant. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Joshua, Texas. She loved spending time with her family, she enjoyed music and reading.

She is survived by her daughter; Amber Martinez and Edgar Espino of Ennis; one grandchild; Jordan Espino; her parents; Jesus Martinez of Fort Worth and Esmeralda Sauceda of Ennis; two brothers; Jesse Martinez and his wife, Polly and Phillip Cruz both of Ennis; grandfather; Felipe Sauceda, Jr. of Ennis; two nieces and two nephews, along with numerous uncles and aunts. She is preceded in death by one son Christopher Martinez in 1991.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A celebration of her Life will take place on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis.

Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
