Cynthia Anne O’Daniel

Cynthia Anne O’Daniel, 68, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in Ennis, Texas surrounded by her family.

Cynthia was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on May 5, 1951 to Howard and Marilyn (Miller) Zitterich. She grew up in Dallas and graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1969. Cynthia went on to receive her RN Degree from McLennan College. On December 12, 1980 she married Howard O’Daniel and they made their home in Waxahachie before moving to the Crisp Community in 2001.

Cynthia gave of herself as a RN for Family First Hospice serving those at a very difficult time in their lives for eighteen years. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She enjoyed travel, dancing, fishing, hunting and the Dallas Cowboys. Cynthia had a very big giving heart and she showed her love for others by serving as a foster parent for eight years.

Cynthia is survived by her husband of over thirty-eight years, Howard O’Daniel; sons: Charles O’Daniel and wife, Patricia, Perry Wester and wife, Nicole and Terry Wester and wife, Sherry; daughter, Stephany Wester; eight grandchildren; two brothers: Mike Zitterich and Ronnie Zitterich; sister, Sandy Alexander and a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Ennis with Rev. Mike Sellers officiating.
