Delfa (Castillo) Arrambide

2173682Delfa (Castillo) Arrambide, 56, on Saturday, July 20, 2013, while surrounded by many devoted family members, lost her battle to cancer, at her home in Waxahachie, Texas. Delfa was born in Capac, Michigan on September 3, 1956 to Raymundo and Josefa (Pena) Castillo. She grew up in Ennis and attended Ennis High School. She would later make Ferris and Waxahachie, Texas her home. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Delfa was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Ferris, Texas. She always enjoyed life to the fullest, spending much of her time with family, interior decorating, dancing, pro baseball, and her Dallas Cowboys. She is survived by two sons: Ray Lee Arrambide, and his wife, Tiffany and Eric Arrambide, and his wife Norma, all of Waxahachie; five amazing grandchildren: April, Jacob, Braedon, Trevor and Krista; seven brothers: Henry, Edward, Raul, Able, Richard, David and Freddie; four sisters: Rosa Garcia, Anita Castillo, Yolanda Trujillo and Delia Marlow, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Josepha and Raymundo Castillo; three brothers: Saragosa, Ysidro and Raymundo, Jr. Castillo; and one sister, Mary Castillo. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father John Dick as celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
