Dianna Marnice (Zappe) Crist

Crist, Dianna Marnice (Zappe), 51, of Ennis, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 30 in her home surrounded by family after a long battle with lung cancer. Dianna was born on December 25, 1961 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Richard A. Zappe and Ada L. Neu (Zappe). Dianna graduated from Shawnee High School in 1980 and attended Eastern Kentucky University. She traveled the world as a military wife and mother, living in such places as Panama and Saudi Arabia. Dianna’s passion in life was her loving and caring children with whom she was able to share her final days. Dianna was preceded in death by her father, Richard; stepfather, Clyde E. Neu; and brothers, Steve and Ritchie. She is survived by her mother, Ada L. Neu; sisters and a brother; sons, Jason (Krihstin), Christopher Zink and Zachery McElreath; one daughter, Michelle (Shawn) Raynor; grandson, Derrick Zink; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend and companion, Wayne McNutt. A memorial service will be held at 1007 S. Hall St. at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27.Dianna Crist
