Dianne Crow

Dianne Crow, 66, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Dianne was born in Arab, Alabama on August 31, 1947 to Lee Roy and Margie (Atchley) Hartley. She grew up in Rice, Texas and graduated from Ennis High School in 1965. On January 22, 1971 she married James Crow and they made their home in Ennis. She owned and operated a home day care for fifteen years and the children she helped to raise and nurture would still come and visit her. She also worked for Atlas Sound for twenty-one years as a shipping supervisor. She was a member of Anthony Drive Baptist Church. She had been a member of a bowling league; she enjoyed golf and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, James Crow of Ennis; one son, James D. Crow of Ennis; daughter Kimberly and her husband Kelly Hitchcock of Tyler; three grandchildren: Dillon Crow, Konnor Hitchcock and Kourtney Hitchcock and two sisters: Dorothy Rawlings of Waxahachie and Rhonda Watson of Ennis. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lee Roy Hartley, Jr. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of her life will take place on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rev. Melvin Merritt officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Hood, Jeff Wilson, David Featherston, Chris Hickman, Damon Hickman and Kevin Newman. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E.
