Dolores Navarro







Dolores Navarro, 83, passed away in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, May 14, 2014.

Dolores was born in Waxahachie, Texas on January 26, 1931 to Fransico and Inez (Pineda) Aguilar. She grew up in Waxahachie and graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1949. On September 3, 1949 she married John P. Navarro and they made their home in Ennis.

She was a member of the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, John P. Navarro; sons: Raymond Navarro and wife, Kathy; Danny Navarro and wife, Marian; daughters: Gloria Goodman and husband Mal; Monica Nichols and Johnny Gilmore; grandchildren: Steven, Kim, Christy, Corey, Cody, Anthony, Austin and Jessica; great-grandchildren: Caine, Kennedy, Haylee, Alli, Bayli, Laine and Madelynn and one brother John Aguilar.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Visitation will be on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m.

Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis with Father John Dick as celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
