Edith Hroza

2160660Edith Hroza, 86, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013 in Ennis, Texas. Edith was born on December 19, 1926 to Frank and Helen (Haskovec) Jaresh in Ennis, Texas. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1944. On June 5, 1945 she married Louis J. Hroza, Jr. and they made their home in Ennis since 1948, She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, SPJST and KJZT #25. She enjoyed gardening and working in the yard she also enjoyed reading westerns. She is survived by one son, Alan Hroza and his wife, Reta of Ennis; grandchildren: Brandon Hroza and his wife Heather of Ennis and Stephanie and her husband Jonathon Davenport of Richardson and six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Louis J. Hroza, Jr. on August 7, 2001. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m. A Celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Father John Dick as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum under the direction of J.E.
