Glenn M. Heil 1932 – 2019


Glenn M. Heil, 86, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in Ennis, Texas. She was born in Pennington, Texas on October 3, 1932 to Martin Luther and Annie Ola (Stanley) Roberts. On October 9, 1947 she married Darvel Allen (D.A.) Heil. They spent most of their years together between the Houston and Dallas areas. She was a devoted wife and mother, and very active in the Assembly of God church. Glenn is survived by sons: Terry Heil, Royce Heil and Vernon Heil; daughter, Diane Stephens; 24 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren; one brother, Vernon Roberts; two sisters, Willie Doan and Mary Flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Darvel Allen Heil, Jr.; a brother, William (Bill) Roberts, and sisters Fairiba Turner and Eva Witcher.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the J. E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A celebration of her life will follow on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the J. E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis with Dr. Darren Heil officiating. Interment will follow in Wortham Cemetery under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
