Hazel “Susie” Ozymy 1927 – 2019


Hazel “Susie” Ozymy, formerly of Ennis, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2019, in Wylie, TX. Her strong faith comforted her until she passed into the arms of her Lord. She lived a fulfilling life of 92 years as a mother, sister, wife, grandmother and friend. Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Ozymy, Sr. She leaves behind one brother, Glen Swabe; daughters, Linda Wenzel and Diane Simpson; stepchildren: Donna Oliver and husband, Randall, and Rudy Ozymy, Jr. and wife, Jan; grandchildren: Clint Simpson, Lisa Fosmark, Bryan Ozymy, Gina Kyser, Laura Ozymy, Sherri Rankin, Jason Ozymy, Chris Coley, and Ronald Oliver and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Susie had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She will be lovingly remembered by her family members, many friends and those whose lives she
touched. She leaves behind a rich harvest of memories to cherish, honor and emulate. Per her request, there will be no services.
