James Jordan 1942 – 2019


James Jordan, 76, of Danville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Charleston Healthcare. He was born on December 16, 1942, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Luther and Bulah Moore Jordan. James was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ada Moore Jordan. He worked in printing for many years, retiring from Ennis Business Forms in Texas. James was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church in Danville. He is survived by a daughter, LaDonna Phillips of Texas; a grandchild, Heather Phillips; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Kolaczkowski of Texas; two stepsons, Rich Cook and Tim Cook (Mary); two step-daughters, Linda Darden (David) and Becky Guerrein (Joe); numerous nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces and nephews; many great-great nieces and nephews and his special dog, Operah. James is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ada; brother, Thomas Jordan and greatnephew, Grant Oakley. Graveside service Tuesday, May 14 at 2 p.m. at Palmer Cemetery in Palmer, Texas. www.preston-pruitt.com
