Jero Fuller

Jerry “Jero” Edwin Fuller, 69, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 in Ennis, Texas. Jero was born in Rice Texas on May 22, 1949 to Charles Edwin and Katy Ruth (Adkins) Fuller. He lived in Bardwell for a year then moved to Oak Grove for two years and then to Ennis in 1955. He graduated from Ennis High School in 1968 and went on to attend Navarro Junior College. On June 10, 1995 he married Linda Marie Laznovsky and they made their home in Ennis. He worked for Western Southern Life Insurance Company, Sherwin and Williams Company and Main Street Hardware where he retired. Jero and Ken Holley formed the Westernaires Band and they played together for around 15 years. He was also a member of the Sage Brush Band, County Seat Band, Sulak Brothers Polka Band, Torchy Mc-Cluney and the Country Tops Band and Jero and Friends Band. He was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and KJZT, SPJST, Sokol, KC, Kiwanis Club and Ennis Jaycees. He is survived by his wife of over twenty-three years, Linda Fuller; brother-in-law, James Wilson, sister-in-law, Margie Hamilton and husband, Stuart; two special cousins, Doris Annette and Susan along with numerous nieces, nephews and greatnieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Katy Fuller, brothers, Jimmy Fuller and Charles Fuller, sisters; Juanita “Nita” Ruth Fuller, Barbara Wilson, Melva Jean Holland and Dottie Hooper. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Jerry Wester, Johnny Joe Laznovsky, Jr., Brad Evans, James R. Tay, Mark Zhanel, Dakota Laznovsky. Honorary pallbeares will be Brenden Evans, Lucas Evans, John Raymond Tay and James G. Tay. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
