Jewell “Jackie” Marshall

2328847Jewell “Jackie” Marshall, 87, passed away in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Jackie was born in Corsicana, Texas on July 23, 1926 to James and Nina J. (Phares) Inmon. She grew up in Kerens, Texas and graduated from Kerens High School in 1943. She went on to attend Draughn’s Business College. On June 27, 1948 she married William C. Marshall, Jr. and they made their home in Ennis. She worked for Ennis business Forms in the Data Entry Department and for Tropar Trophy Manufactories for six years in assembly. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Ennis. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and dominoes. She is survived by her husband, William C. Marshall, Jr. of Ennis; daughters: Sue Mooney and her husband, Brady of Ennis and Ginger Smith and her husband, Terry also of Ennis; four grandchildren: five great-grandchildren and one sister, Frances Bowker of Temple. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Inmon. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from noon until 1 p.m. with a Celebration of her life to be held at 1 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. www.jekeevermortuary.com
