Johnny Williams

Johnny Williams, 87, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011. He was born to Oscar and Johnnie (Shaddock) Williams in Mansfield, Texas on April 13, 1924.   Johnny married Esther Lou Minatrea on August 12, 1946 in Ennis.  He served in the Navy during WWII and owned his own sheet metal business.  Johnny was a member of the IOOF Lodge.

Survivors include his brothers, Don Williams of Quinlan, TX, and Jack Williams and his wife Rhoda of Murchison, TX; five grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Johnny was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Lou Williams; sons, Jimmy Williams and Doug Williams, daughter-in-law, Iris Williams, his parents, two brothers, Glen and Gene Williams and sister, Billie Ruth.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2011 in the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Ennis.  Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery.
