Josh Duke

2939267Josh Duke, 36, passed away on Friday morning, Jan. 30, 2015, in Dallas, Texas.
Josh was born on Dec. 28, 1978, to Paul Wayne and Sandra “Cozette” (Cox) Duke in Ennis, Texas. Josh grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1997. He went on to attend Navarro College and The University of North Texas. On Nov. 10, 2007, he married Elena Marie Armenta and they made their home in Grapevine and then to Heartland.
Josh worked as a supervisor of construction in multi-family housing. He was a member of the Country Club Road Church of Christ in Ennis. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, son, brother, nephews and many friends.
He is survived by his wife, Elena Duke; one son, Jordan Isaac Duke; his father and mother, Paul and Cozette Duke; one brother, Jeremy Duke and his wife Tammy; two nephews: Jacob and Caleb Duke; along with other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 3, from 6 until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis with Wayne Mathis and Larry Fryer officiating with Felten Smith assisting.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to any Prosperity Bank in the name of Jordan Duke.
