Judith Pitts Anderson

Judith Pitts Anderson, 78, passed away in Blooming Grove, Texas on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. Judith was born in Rankin, Texas on June 16, 1940 to Harold C. and Alexine (Rankin) Pitts. She grew up in Rankin and attended school there. She married John Dent while still in school and after this tragic passing she married Stan Heath. She and Stan were married for many years before his passing. She was also married to Charles Anderson for several years. Judith was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and playing forty-two with friends. She is survived by daughters: Cendi Page and husband, David, Anne Young and Shawn Davis and husband, Ronnie; grandchildren: Brady Self, Rory Mitchell, Whitney Davis and Larke Mata and husband, Manny; five greatgrandchildren; one sister, Mary Woodside and husband, Woody; special friend, Wanda Harris, niece Courtney Murphy and great-nephew Callum along with a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, one grandson, Justin Mitchell and one great-grandchild, Ryan Mitchell. Visitation was held Friday, December 21, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of her life took place on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. Interment followed in Elm Branch Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
