Judy H. Deagen 1944-2018

Judy H. Deagen, 74, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 in Ennis, Texas. Judy was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April 28, 1944 to William H. and Gladys (Kendall) Hartley. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1962. On October 18, 1963 she married the love of her life Ronnie Deagen and they were married for fifty-four years before his death in February of 2018. She worked for Duncan-Webb Law Firm as an office manager then for TSTI and also worked for Tri-State Trucking. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ennis. Her family was the light of her life. She enjoyed deer hunting and camping. She is survived by her son, Curtis Deagen and wife, DeeDee; daughter, Rhonda Svehlak and husband, Joe; six grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren along with a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ronnie Deagen. Visitation was held on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis. A Celebration of her life was held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. in J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel in Ennis with Rev. Steve Holston officiating. Interment followed in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the First United Methodist Church of Ennis. www.jekeevermortuary.com
