Lois Ann McKenzie


Lois Ann McKenzie, 72, passed away on April 11, 2012 at Corsicana Hospital.
Lois was born October 19, 1939 in Gastonia, NC and moved to Dallas at the age of 10 and graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in  1958. On July 11, 1958 she married her high school sweetheart M. H. McKenzie and they moved to Ennis in 1966.
Lois was known for many attributes including her love for traveling to different places to the horse races with her husband M. H. She loved being a housewife and teaching exercise classes.
She was a loving, caring, honest wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by many and all who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband M. H. McKenzie on February 23, 2012, her father and mother Bill and Bobbie Blizzard, a brother Billy Blizzard, all of whom she is celebrating now with in her new heavenly home.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Launa and her husband Barry Cox of Ennis, Tina McKenzie of Ennis, four grand children Lauren Kubin of Ennis, Lindley Woody of Arlington, Haylee Dent of Ennis, Chance Cox of Ennis.
Mom, we love and miss you and dad.
Memorial services will be held at the Cowboy Church of Ennis at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012. (Exit 244 off I-45). Bro. Eddie Ricks, Michael Howard and Bob Moehring officiating.
