Lou Ann Haddock Little 1935 – 2019


Lou Ann Haddock Little, 83, passed away in Dallas, Texas on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Lou Ann was born in Amarillo, Texas on June 21, 1935 to Ervin and Lucille (Graham) Moreman. She grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School who were the “Sandies” in 1953. She and her family moved to Ennis in 1968. In 1980 she married Joel Little and they remained in Ennis. She worked at the VA Hospital in Dallas for twenty-two years where she managed the patient representative program which she helped create. For the past three years she was an administrator at the YMCA Camp of the Rockies in Estes Park. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ennis where she served as an Elder and the NARFE Association. The thing she enjoyed most, outside of her love for the Dallas Cowboys, was helping others. She is survived by sons: Michael Haddock and wife, Wia, Steven Haddock and Donald Haddock and wife, Gloria; grandchildren: Heidi Conlin and Matthew Haddock; three great-grandchildren: Austin Conlin, Harper Conlin and Pepper Haddock; one brother, Bill Moreman and wife, Janis and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ervin “Buddy” Moreman and husband, Joel Little. Visitation was held on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. A Celebration of her life was held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church of Ennis with Rev. Craig Krueger officiating. Interment followed in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project, in Lou Ann’s memory.
