Margie Pate Clark

1960390Margie Pate Clark, 93, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Monday, February 11, 2013 in Ennis, Texas. Margie was born in Palmer, Texas on August 28, 1919 to John and Evie (Greer) Pate. She grew up in Dalton and Palmer and graduated from Palmer High School. On January 17, 1975 she married Richard Clark and they made their home in Ennis. Margie owned and operated a beauty shop for many years. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Ennis, the MAG’s, and the Rebekah’s. She enjoyed reading but the true joy of her life was her faith, family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Richard Clark; sons: Bill Ranton and his wife, Kathy and Jim Ranton and his wife, Lynette; daughter, Gayle Ranton Brown; step-son, Basil Clark and his wife, Kay; grandchildren: Kim Ranton, Krissy Wadley, Kyle Ranton, Brooks Ranton, Courtney Montelongo and Cody Brown; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Maxine McGahey and Nita Long and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, and sisters, Jewell McNaron and Wanda Sieg. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. A Celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Interment will follow in Ferris Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. www.jekeevermortuary.com
