Mary Catherine Livingston


Mary Catherine Livingston, 74, passed away in Dallas, Texas on Friday, March 24, 2017.
Mary was born in Velasco, Texas on December 30, 1942 to Joe Andrew and Mildred Alene (Beckham) Davis.  She grew up in Waxahachie and attended Waxahachie Schools.  On April 25, 1958 she married Billy Livingston and they made their home in Ennis.
She worked for Ennis ISD for fifteen years as a lunch room manager and was the co-owner for twenty years of Bill’s Feed.  She was a member of the Garrett Baptist Church.  She enjoyed cooking, genealogy and antiques.  Her faith was very important to her and her family was the light of her life.
She is survived by her husband of over fifty-eight years, Billy Livingston; sons: Robert Livingston and wife, Joy, Ronnie Livingston and wife, Tina and Richard Livingston; daughter, Kathy Woods and husband, Dennis; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers: Joe Davis, Charles Don Davis and Clarence Davis; sisters: Karon Dunn and Linda Green along with a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.
A Celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rev. Keith Bates officiating.  Pallbearers will be Joshua Livingston, Zachary Livingston, Aaron Livingston, Christopher Woods, Dusty Livingston, Dustin Rogers and Caleb Livingston.  Interment will follow in the Bristol Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
