Michael Andrew Beckham


Michael Andrew Beckham, 64, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 in Dallas, Texas after a lengthy battle with Myeloma. Michael was born in Waco, on July 1, 1954 to Andrew Bascom and Martha Lane (Rhodes) Beckham, Jr. He grew up in Waco and Houston and graduated from Richfield High School in 1972. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He worked for twenty-five years as a Comptroller for construction companies in the Austin Area. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He participated in theater both in Ennis and in college. He is survived by a son, Nigel Beckham; step-daughter, Melissa Windham; brothers: Rick Beckham and wife, Alison, Austin Beckham and wife, Karen; three nephews; two nieces; one great-nephew and one great-niece. He is preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Waco Memorial Park under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
