Pauline Caldwell 1921 – 2019

Pauline Caldwell, 98, finished her journey here on earth and went home to heavenly home to meet her Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 25, 2019 in Ennis, Texas. Pauline was born in Bardwell, Texas on May 27, 1921 to Lonnie and Lottie R. (Wylie) Lewis. She grew up in Bardwell and attended Bethel Schools. On April 13, 1940 she married Morris Caldwell and they made their home in Telico before moving to Ennis. She worked at the Donut Shop, Dairy Mart for twenty-five years and was a Home Care Giver for many years. She was a member of the Foundation of Life Church. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and family. She was well known for her great sense of humor and quick wit.
She was a loving caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many and her memory will be carried on by those who loved her most including her daughter, Polly (Caldwell) Percival; daughter-in-laws: Mary Caldwell and Linda Lott; sister-in-law, Linda Lewis; grandchildren: Shelly and Troy Vyers, Gena Percival, Corey Percival, Weldon and Pam Caldwell, Russell and Libby Caldwell and Chad and Julie Caldwell; great-grandchildren: Randy and Hayley Vyers, Jordan and Jared Cunningham, Brittaney and Jeff Aycock, Hanah Caldwell and John Hernandez, Reese and Reede Caldwell, Gavin Caldwell, Monica and Adam Herrera and Daena Castillo; great-great-grandchildren: Breona Benavidez, Abraham Castillo, Angel Herrera, Jaysie Cunningham, Jaxie Cunningham, Annabelle Mc-Coy, Chelsea McCoy and Parker Aycock along with a host of extended family and friends. Greeting her in Glory are her husband, Morris Caldwell, sons: Weldon and Bill Caldwell, son-in-law, Billy Percival, great-grandson, Angel Benavidez, great-great-grandson, Tarek Mc-Coy, one sister, ten brothers and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Sunday January 27, 2019 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Pastor Raymond Richardson officiating. Pallbearers will be Weldon Caldwell, Russell Caldwell, Corey Percival, Chad Caldwell, Randy Vyers and Reese Caldwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Gavin Caldwell and Reede Caldwell. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
