Robert “Beaver” Martinez

Robert “Beaver” Martinez, 62, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Ennis, Texas. Robert was born in Ennis, Texas on April 18, 1956 to Robert and Timotea (Santos) Martinez. He grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1975. On February 28, 1980 he married Melinda Ortiz and they made their home in Ennis. He worked for Taylo Communications for thirty-two years in the printing business. He loved music especially the Beatles music. He enjoyed baseball and Harley’s. He is survived by his wife, Melinda Martinez; son, Jude Martinez and wife, Rebecca; daughter, Ashley Cook and partner, Lawrence Blanchard; grandchildren: Penny Layne Martinez-Bernal, Adaley Starr Bernal, Jordain Arias, Lennon Martinez, Paislee Amos and Pailyn Amos; mother, Timotea Martinez; brother, Albert Martinez; sisters: Julia Martinez and Mary Aguirre long with a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Martinez. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 10 a.m. in St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Danny Santos, Richard Carrillo, Robert Martinez, Adam Carrillo, Bobby Santos and Joseph Martinez. www.jekeevermortuary.com
