Stanley Charles ‘Junior’ Dlabaj


Stanley Charles “Junior” Dlabaj, Jr., 57, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011.
Junior was born in Ennis, Texas on May 18, 1954, to Stanley C. and Eleanor (Blair) Dlabaj, Sr. He grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1972. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. On November 9, 2011 he married Kathy Burris and they made their home in Ennis.
Junior owned Stanley Dlabaj Construction and was a carpenter and home builder. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church and KJT. He loved to travel and spend time with his family.
He is survived by his wife: Kathy Dlabaj; daughters: Bridget Dlabaj and Amanda Dlabaj; three grandchildren: Cheyenne, Reagan and Brianna; two brothers: Charles “Chuck” Dlabaj and his wife, Margie and Lonnie Dlabaj and his wife, Joyce: one sister: Jeanie and her husband, Ervin Novak along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Jimmy Ray and Randy Lee Dlabaj.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, December 29, 2011 in St. John Catholic Church under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
