Steve was a man’s man, coyote hunter, dove hunter, horse racing enthusiast, a diehard Texas Longhorns fan, and had the heart and nature of a genuine cowboy. He was a member of the Bristol Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Jeff Taylor; his parents: Clifford and Mildred Taylor; sister, Suzi Thomas; brother, Jody Taylor and wife, Carolyn; surrogate brother, Jimmy Spurgeon and wife, Melinda along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Steve Taylor is a true legend and will be greatly missed by all.
