Sue Ann Patterson

2228190Sue Ann Patterson, 54, passed away in Rice, Texas on Saturday, September 7, 2013. Sue was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 4, 1959 to William and Flora (Baughman) Madole. She grew up in Eldon, Missouri and graduated from Eldon High School in 1977. On August 6, 1977 she married John O. Patterson and they made their home in Springfield, Missouri and moved to Rice, Texas in 2001. She was a member of Baylor Baptist Church of Ennis and a former member of the Northgate Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri. She enjoyed raising bassett hounds. She was a loving wife and outstanding homemaker. She is survived by her husband, John O. Patterson of Rice; son, William Travis Patterson of Rice; daughter, Jennifer Leigh Patterson of Waxahachie; six grandchildren: one brother, Bill Madole of Eldon, MO; four sisters: Cheryl Olsen of Eldon, MO, Cherry Madole of West Des Moines, IA, Yvonne Madole of Columbia, MO and Mary Uhlemeyer of Columbia, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of her life will take place at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis at 2 p.m. with Rev. Chet Hensley officiating under the direction of J.E.
