Thefts reported by Tractor Supply

Ennis police filed charges of theft of more than $1,500 after Tractor Supply reported an employee had been stealing from the company for several months.
Det. Sgt. Mike Hopson said the company’s loss prevention department contacted police regarding the theft of approximately $10,000 in missing equipment. Documentation from the past three months was provided implicating the suspect in the thefts. The loss prevention department’s report also indicated the employee admitted to his involvement.
Hopson said an arrest warrant was issued for the suspect and the man turned himself in to police custody this week.
Bobby Rex Benner Jr., 38, of Ennis was charged with theft of more than $1,500.
