Community spirit alive and well

This week we were reminded of just how community minded the people of Ennis are with the example of Nancy Swindell and Carol Rejcek.
The genuine appreciation for not only the history of the city but the quality of the future these women have is inspiring.
The philosophy on which they base their actions is something we think is a testament to their unique and outrageous characters – “Life is too short to spend time doing things that don’t make you happy and if you can, give a little back every day.”
Nancy and Carol consider it a calling to be able to do whatever they can to improve the entire community and work very diligently, donating their time and talents to showcase the very best the city has to offer.
Their community pride is admirable and something we have come to expect from the generous people who call Ennis home.
