Community steps up to help others again

For anyone that did not get to the annual Taste of Ennis event, you missed out on a wonderful evening and some great food.
The community came out in full force to support the organization and was very generous in their bids on auction items as well as in their compliments regarding the event.
The employees and the board members of Helping Hands should be very proud of the success of the event because it was evident that many hours of hard work went into making the event possible and a lot of thought went into the changes that were made to the program this year.
From the decorations to the way the food vendors were laid out, the Helping Hands group put a lot of effort into making sure everyone was well represented, that attendees had a lot of variety of items to choose from and that people could mingle and talk but still have a great band to listen to.
The work that the folks at Helping Hands put into the event every year makes for a great evening, but it wouldn’t be possible without the support of the people who attend. It always makes us proud to see how much this community cares for each other and for organizations that help those who need it and the Taste of Ennis was a definite show of support for Helping Hands.
With the rise and fall of the economy, it’s important that relief organizations like Helping Hands are well supported because the work they do to bring hope to families that need it is imperative. As we get ready to head into the holiday season we hope the community continues to support Helping Hands in the wonderful work they do to help make the lives of our neighbors and friends a little easier.
