Homemade Igloo

The Pre-K class at Candy Cane Corner Daycare recently finished a study of the habitats of different people, animals, and the changing seasons.
To aid in their learning experience, the children built an igloo out of empty milk jugs. The igloo was built over several weeks and will remain up until the spring when it will be taken down over a few days to teach the kids about how things melt in the spring of the year. Currently the kids use the igloo as a quiet place to read and play as they learn about the world. The class is under the direction of Shelley Keilers and Nicki Johnson.
