Lions Club gets ready ­­for a new year of service

Although officers change every year, the one thing that remains constant for the Ennis Noon Lions Club is their desire to fulfill the service group’s motto: We serve.
Hayden said the group, which meets Wednesdays at noon at First United Methodist Church, is going strong in membership.
“One of our strengths is our membership,” newly appointed club President Gary Hayden said. “We have 135 members and in a time when many service clubs are down in membership, we are seeing growth.”
