Grandview Zebras gallop to victory vs. Palmer

The Palmer Bulldogs were a heavy underdog on Friday night against the 17th-ranked team in the state in the form of the Grandview Zebras.
But on the first play of the game, Palmer managed to sack the Zebra quarterback for a 10-yard loss to give the Bulldogs an early boost.

On the next play, however, the Grandview signal caller threw a swing pass that went for a 76-yard touchdown and the Zebras seized the momentum. Grandview ended the first quarter up 21-0 and extended the lead to 28-0 early in the second.

Grandview passed for 236 yards and four touchdowns in the game. Two of those passes went for over 70 yards.

Late in the action, the Zebra quarterback threw an interception to
Bulldog defensive back Cord Langthorn, who returned the interception for Palmer’s only score of the night. Yards were tough to come by for the Bulldog offense, as it did not have any plays go for more than 15 yards.
