Woman arrested on burglary, flight, drug charges

Ennis police arrested a woman on list of charges that included burglary, drug paraphernalia possession and parole violation after a foot chase Tuesday.
Det. Mike Hopson, Ennis Police Department spokesman, said Floydia Beasley, 43, ran when a witness allegedly discovered her breaking into a vehicle on the 500 block of West Milam St.

Officers were called in at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Hopson said, and spoke with witnesses who flagged them down on W. Milam Street. Witnesses reported seeing the suspect running after police were called between houses and into an alley adjoining the street.
