H1N1 shots coming

The Texas Department of State Health Services will have a limited amount of doses of the H1N1 vaccine available when they come to Ennis on Tuesday.
The DSHS Kaufman office comes to the Boys & Girls Club in Ennis on the first Tuesday of every month for a shot clinic, but this Tuesday will be the first time they are bringing doses of the H1N1 vaccine with them.

The exact amount of the vaccine they will have is not known, because they could receive more doses prior to the shot clinic, said Joy Taylor, an RN with the Texas DSHS. Also, there will be other shot clinics prior to the one in Ennis, and there is no way to know how many doses will be used at those clinics.

“We’ll give it until we run out,” Taylor said.
