Guinyard commits to an SMU football future

Lion senior Kyle Guinyard is still in the midst of his rehab from knee surgery, but his football future is now set.
The all-state receiving standout recently committed to play football for the SMU Mustangs, where he’ll join current redshirted Mustang receiver and former Lion Deonte McDade.

“I went to visit the SMU campus and watched them play,” Guinyard said.
“They throw the ball enough for (my liking) and when I talked to my parents, they agreed it’s a good school. I committed the next day.”

Many college freshmen don’t want a total disconnect from their hometown and Kyle is no different.
