EJHS preps for testing

Ever since the Texas Education Agency rated Ennis Junior High School Academically Unaccept-able at the end of the 2008-09 school year, administrators and teachers at the school have been focused on corrective action.
When the bulk of TAKS testing — on which TEA ratings are based in part — comes in April, the school will get the chance for that work to pay off.

EJHS Principal Orlando Vargas said there are a number of strategies in place to improve testing in all areas, and for all student subgroups.
