Ennis Steel robbed of $80K

Ennis police are investigating the theft of $80,000 in steel from Ennis Steel.
Officials at the facility reported the stolen goods Monday afternoon, but were uncertain as to how long the material had been gone, said Ennis Police Department spokesman Det. Sgt. Mike Hopson.

So far, the probe has turned up one of two trailers stolen from the premises at 202 Metro Park Blvd. at Dallas-based Trinity Industries, said Det. Sgt. Jason York, the case’s lead investigator.
