Relay For Life at the Motorplex

The big day that 51 teams, 657 participants, and 147 survivors have been waiting for is finally here, and with just mere hours left until Relayers start the first lap, everyone is watching the weather forecast, which has predicted rain.
But rest assured, Relay chair Angela Jones and the committee have a plan.

“By 4 p.m., will we send out a mass e-mail to all of the participants indicating if Relay is still on, or if it has been cancelled,” Jones said.

The committee has come up with various contingencies, depending on how severe the weather gets, if at all.
