8th Maroon Lions rumble over Reed, 48-0

The eighth grade Maroon Lions are a runaway E-train right now and their opponents don’t seem to stand a chance.
Ennis (3-0) had its most dominant showing to date on Tuesday in its home debut against Duncanville Reed. The Lions led 32-0 at halftime and didn’t throw a single pass after that point in a 48-0 victory. Ennis has outscored its opponents 113-0 and allowed 14 total first downs in three wins.

“We had a lot of players making key plays in this one,” said offensive coordinator Macy Thompson. “We had some big runs by Devin (Smith) and the running backs had a great game. I thought everyone played well; nobody slacked off and they were unselfish.”
