Subvarsity Lions battle Highland Park opposition

The game wasn’t quite as lopsided as the score indicates for the JV Lions (1-2), at least until the Scots went on a big late run to win the fourth quarter 24-9.

“They have seven juniors on that JV because they have 13 seniors on the varsity,” said coach Rodney Ross. “Those (JV Scots) will play vital roles for the varsity and it will probably be the best JV team we see all year, as far as their execution, length, shooting ability, and basketball IQ. They caused us a lot of problems.”
