Biofuels going strong at Ennis gas station
For more than six months now Ennis has been a solid link in the chain of successful outlets for the “BioWillie” brand of biodiesel fuel, the Willie Nelson-sponsored product distributed by Earth Biofuels. Its thirteenth Texas location, the Ennis One Stop Express fueling station at 4462 Spur 462 offers BioWillie to truckers who stop there from across the country.
“Truckers traveling through Texas along this route asked about where they can find BioWillie,” said One Stop’s president and founder, Tony Arterburn, Sr. “So we are thrilled to provide it for them. Working with Earth Biofuels has allowed us to meet the needs of our customers and also increase our sales.”
The Ennis One Stop Express, located on the southwest corner of I-45 and Hwy 879 at exit 256, offers 24-hour service at its on-site convenience store, providing both truck and auto diesel dispensers as well as18-wheeler access.
“Because of these stations’ partnerships with Earth Biofuels, truckers will now have easy access to BioWillie,” said Willie Nelson. “By using biodiesel, we can help reduce dependency on foreign oil and adopt an energy source that’s clean, renewable and helps domestic farmers find new uses for their products.”
Earth Biofuels’ BioWillie pumps are currently located in seven other states, including California, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Tennessee. BioWillie is a premium B20 blend (20 percent biodiesel and 80 percent petroleum diesel) biodiesel fuel made from vegetable seeds, such as soybeans.
Earth Biofuels produces and distributes biodiesel fuel through the company’s network of wholesale and retail outlets. The fuel is sold under Willie Nelson’s brand name, "BioWillie." The Company is focused on capitalizing on the growing demand for alternative and renewable fuels in the domestic market.
The company’s Web site is www.earthbiofuels.com.
