Big ‘Cats, Big Stage

When Sam Harrell looks at the strength of an opponent, he looks beyond who they defeated and the numbers they racked up along the way. Asked about going up against No. 9 ranked and undefeated Frisco Reedy he made it clear. “They are 10-0 and are very good,” he said, “and they have 42 seniors on the team.” A year after head coach Chad Cole led the Lions to a 9-2 mark, this year’s Reedy Roar carry a 60-man roster and all but 18 are ripe with experience in his program. Two years prior they were 3-7. When addressing the team Ennis (5-4) will face at the Ford Center at The Star, the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters in Frisco, Harrell said Reedy, like most teams, run the spread option offense.
